People get crazy vs People are crazy....

Today I was challenging a lot my brain in order to understand why.... why??

Why people make choices? in wich way they do it?

I was observing, i was thinking back to some particular people and situations, and i finally got the idea that in most of those situations people look around and choose in the base of unsignficant reasons.

So I started to further elaborate:

I discovered that people look for examples e.g. Artists, Nobel, Pop Star, Actors and in general whatever people seems to them supercool... this means that People are so deluded and need lives. I was asking to myself: Would people get crazy, over their next door neighbour if they were real nice people? No they wouldn't and it doesn't matter if these people have achieved things, why get crazy over them? But than when I see people getting crazy over the Jonas Brothers and Paris Hilton I think to myself: "grow up".

There are different motivation also for becoming crazy... and I was thinking about people getting crazy because they don't have a good childhood so they think it is right to do bad things; some suffer mental illness some did too many/too much drugs and fried there brains some are from head trauma etc. I'm sure there are a lot more reasons...but the one that comes more often to my mind is because they made bad choices.

So it comes againg to the choice point :) Why choosing on the base of few stupid examples? why never approaching the "average neighbour"?

Is the neighbour available for us...??? we really don't know if we don't try!
Is the neighbour enough brave, cool and intelligent to get in touch with us? We actually don't know if we don't try to speak to him/her...

The final outcome of this very simple daylife challenge, understand that everyone in this world, including the "stupid insignificant" neighbour can give us something...

Which means, NO Prejudice!

What happen if we start to analize costs and opportunities??

One of the ways to start to effect change in our life and in our environment can be the following:

Level of Costs against Opportunities....

If we can measure the entity of waiver in the moment in which we take a decision than we can obtain this measurable!

Robert Frost used to say: "In front of two roads diverging in a wood, I walked along one less traveled by, and this made the difference"

Which other road he meant to say? A Urban Life? A Job that wouldn't allow him to write about roads, walls and trees?

think about the 'immeasurable opportunity cost for the' humanity if Robert Frost had decided to follow the beaten track...

So finally we can state that decision is a must and it is determining the meaning of our lives!

Don't you think so...?

I'm Back - with a brand new brain...:)

Back from India some weeks ago i just kept quite until today, reflecting about this such particular experience i had in India and about how it really affected me...

Is Danilo today different than one year ago?

Is Danilo today different than 2 years ago?

Is Danilo today different than 5 years ago?

And finally is Danilo today different than 3 month ago?

This reflection is of course about change... thinking and reflecting about change and how we can effect it ... we can't start any discussion and we can't draw any conclusion unless we start from ourself!

So... let's start this new chapter with all the power of effecting change that we have within ourself....

What happen if one day you wake up very happy of your
life but than suddenly the same day turn into a disaster?

Sometimes this is happening just because of a small
happening that just shift your day into an infernal
subsequence of events :)

So this means that "The Butterfly Effect" does exist
in our daily reality and we can experience it!

Think about a nice day just started and the sun is shining,
you just woke up and together with one of your best friend
friend you go for a nice Indian tipycal break fast...

After spending 1 hour enjoying your break fast you just
want to have an espresso at the wonderful "Barista Lavazza"
Caffetteria :)

There you unpreventenly meet another Italian... which
is very uncommon to meet in Bombay...hehe
so you start to speak and speak and speak... but at one
point you feel the need to go but still the discussion
is very intense and keep going on for 15 min more...

Then you just exchange your mobile phone contatcs and
you lead your way continuing on your waterfront promenade
.....

But ... that 15 min delay already made a mess, shifting
your destinity :)

In the meanwhile you are at the nice waterfront the
Monsun came blocking you for more than half hour under
a small tend of a sort of Indian Kiosk...

15+30= 45

This means that you are already 45 minutes out of your
scheduled time;

Than you just take a Rickshaw, but it is not the right
one infatc the driver didnt know where to go and he
finally drop you at the opposite of your address while
the Rain is coming more and more strong... you try
to repair yourself under your small Benetton umbrella
but it is not enough to protect you from the Horizontal,
vertical and trasversal flowing water :)

after 30 minutes walking (15+30+30=75 delay) you arrive
home totally wet ... just the time to get a shower
and to close your backpack and you look again for a
Taxi to bring you to your train to Jaipur...

After 40 min ride you just understand that the driver misunderstood
the direction and he is bringing you to a wrong train
station one out of the dozens here in Bombay...

So lets run back to the right one... but with 45 min
delay .... once you arrive to the station the train is already left

I will not tell you now whats next :) haha

but i can surely tell you that without being late at
the "Barista Lavazza" Caffetteria you would never had
experienced this amazing day ... full of water rains,
runs, crazy drivers and of course delay :)

This is what i defined "The Butterfliy effect" :)

hahaha

anyway we reached Jaipur!!

1st Team Day in SCB...

My first team day in SCB Reward team started with a long Cab ride at 8 am in the morning!

A colleague picked me up at my place and we have been in taxi together for more than 1 hour, destination Willington Mews – Taj Residence…

We drop in front of this huge skyscraper at Cuffe Parade (downtown Mumbai) it was around 9.30 am, there we met with the other member of the team and the bossJ

Our team day place was a superior lounge room of the residence with full service crew, we start ordering … first breakfast than espresso coffee of course Lavazza!!!

During the day a lot of fine chocolate and tea were coming until lunch time… Lunch time was awesome I ordered Jiva SPA food for my wellness J

It was fish with vegetables and mushrooms in a nice soup … again for the second Lavazza espresso and then at work again … feedback session and … lets move to dinner.

Dinner at Thai Restaurant – Taj President Hotel, supreme thai food accompanied by Martini Bianco aperitive and nice appetizers…

This day was awesome… one of the thousand of controversial happens of India! You spend one day like this I described you, which cost around 2500 euros for 5 people and outside of the Fancy hotel small children’s under the water of the monsoon without shoos and without food!!

Makes me again thoughtful…
